AfryKamera po raz pierwszy celebruje muzykę na ekranie – festiwal zamyka pozakonkursowy przegląd filmów, w których dźwięk i obraz powstają w ścisłej symbiozie: od przesyconej brzmieniami gnawa wizji Ami Taf Ra, przez kosmiczny, duchowy jazz Kamasiego Washingtona i rytmy bębnów Gombey z Bermudów, aż po portret artysty Samphy, rozpięty między Londynem a Freetown.

AfryKamera’s first celebration of music on screen, and it closes the festival out of competition with films where sound and image are made together: Ami Taf Ra’s gnawa-infused vision, Kamasi Washington’s cosmic spiritual jazz, Bermudian Gombey drums, and Sampha’s portrait between London and Freetown. At its heart is Kevin Le Dortz’s AⵣMⵣ ~ The Visual Trip, born from the Tekchbila residency in Tafraout, where the Amazigh Ahwach ensemble Bnat Louz meets the electronic duo Raskas among the ancient rocks of the Anti-Atlas.
